The practice of Acupuncture
The practice of Acupuncture spans time for more than 2500 years. Acupuncture is a safe and effective natural therapy that is used to heal illness, prevent disease and improve well-being.
The purpose of Acupuncture is to balance the Qi or Energy in your body by increasing or decreasing Qi by using a specific combination of acupuncture points. Tiny, hair-thin needles are inserted into specific points in the body, where they are gently stimulated to trigger the body's natural healing response. All Acupuncture needles are sterile and disposable.
The World Health Organization has recognized that acupuncture effectively treats a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions. Acupuncture is covered under most health insurance plans. There are various types which include Auricular Acupuncture, Body Acupuncture, Cupping, and Moxibustion. Treatments vary according to the individual's health needs.

The practice of nutritional cleansing
Nutritional Cleansing is built upon the health routine of cleansing, including fasting and drinking herbal remedies, which has been practiced throughout history. Cleansing gives the body the chance to rest, regenerate and assist in its natural ability to remove toxins and impurities to promote long-term wellness. However, Nutritional Cleansing improves upon this ancient practice with a system that cleanses, replenishes and revitalizes the body with essential nutrients. Fasting helps to remove impurities from the body, but Nutritional Cleansing speeds up this process by infusing the body with healthy nutrients.
We are regularly exposed to pollutants in our environment, impurities in our diets and stress that is often created by our hectic lifestyles. Nutritional Cleansing helps the body and organs to do what they are designed to do naturally and remove impurities.
Catherine can help guide you towards reaching your optimal health goals leading to a better, healthier you!

What is Laser Therapy?
This technology utilizes superluminous and laser diodes to irradiate diseased or traumatized tissue with photons. These particles of energy are selectively absorbed by the cell membrane and intracellular molecules, resulting in the initiation of a cascade of complex physiological reactions, leading to the restoration of normal cell structure and function.
The process is curative and therefore results in the elimination of symptoms including pain. In addition, it enhances the body's immune system response and facilitates natural healing.
Conditions Treated include:
• Soft Tissue and Sports Injuries
• Repetitive Stress Injuries
• Back Problems
• Dermatological Conditions
The therapy is completely safe and has no adverse side effects.
Treatments can last between 15 minutes to over 1 hour depending on the condition and area being treated.
